About the Role

We’re looking for a people-focused, organized, and proactive Social & Events Coordinator to help bring our events and member experiences to life. This role is the main point of contact for external events after they’re sold, supports communication with Arrowood Social Club members, and helps keep pickleball operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

Event Execution/Coordination

• Be the main point of contact for external events after the sale
• Work closely with the Event Sales Director to ensure smooth handoff and execution
• Execute event details including timelines, BEOs, vendors, and rentals
• Communicate clearly with operations, culinary, beverage, and service teams
• Be on-site during events to support execution and assist clients and guests
• Help resolve issues calmly and professionally
• Complete post-event notes and feedback

Arrowood Social Club

• Serve as a go-to contact for Social Club members
• Communicate about events, benefits, and programming
• Respond to questions and concerns in a friendly, timely way
• Coordinate internally to ensure member benefits are delivered consistently

Pickleball Support

• Help oversee daily pickleball activity
• Monitor reservations and court usage
• Assist with resolving scheduling or system issues
• Escalate larger concerns to leadership when needed

Team Communication

• Work closely with multiple departments to keep everyone aligned
• Keep event details, timelines, and documentation organized
• Support teamwork during busy or high-pressure situations

What We’re Looking For

• 4–5 years of hospitality experience preferred (events, clubs, guest services, or similar)
• Strong problem-solving skills, especially under pressure
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• A true people person who enjoys working with guests and teammates
• Comfortable coordinating and guiding teams during live events
• Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and events

• Be aware of operations as you could be asked frequent questions due to your immediate accessibility

• |Perform or assist with any tasks as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules
• Notify supervisor / manager of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional resources, material, and supplies
• Participate in meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines
• Perform any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as assigned
• Assist with monthly inventory and order supplies as needed

Tactical

• Maximize guest & customer satisfaction, creating a memorable experience for visitors
• Provide courteous & prompt service, respond to questions in a knowledgeable, consider, manner
• Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner and provide exceptional guest service
• Operate a point-of-sale system to charge guests merchandise and/or rental purchases
• Communicate and respond by phone, email and in person regarding inquires, course conditions and special member events
• Promote and sell merchandise, events, and communicate current promotions to guests
• Properly check-in and process tee times and merchandise into correct buckets.
• Tidy, dust and maintain the overall appearance of the Golf Shop
• Follow outside golf cart/range procedures daily

Golf Instructor

Overview

Designed by prominent local architect Ted Robinson Jr, Arrowood Golf Course is a spectacular par-71, 6,721-yard layout imbedded in the Oceanside, CA developed village of the same name. Located adjacent to Camp Pendleton in north county San Diego, Arrowood sits on a scenic hilltop by the San Luis Rey Valley, within 10 miles of the coastline. “This course is different from others we have designed in San Diego because of the topography and the extent of the natural areas adjacent to the holes. It feels open and unconfined,” remarks Robinson. Many holes are bordered by undeveloped riparian habitat, which give the course a feeling of natural seclusion. While the open spaces conduce to a sense of relaxation, the golf holes are not there for the taking; this course will challenge players of all abilities. It’s a concentration roller-coaster. At one instance it invites the player to swing away with abandonment, while the next shot may bring elevation changes, strategic bunkering or a stern breeze to consider.

Essential Responsibilities

Utilizing your golf expertise and skills, we would like to partner with you to bring golf instruction presence to Arrowood Golf Course.  As your partner, you would earn 100% of what you charge your students and offer you  competitive monthly rental rates for the use of our TopTracer Range consisting of 10 bays, golf range, and competitive rates for 9 and 18-hole lessons for your students.
