Launch your golf game to a new Apex with our Flight Deck League! Join solo or with a partner and dive into the ultimate virtual golf experience. Forget the usual beer league—this is a new altitude of fun. Ready to take off?
League Format Overview
Registration Window: Now Through 6/29/25
Season 3: 6/30/25 – 8/10/25
- Structure: FDL runs in 6-week stints, providing a consistent and exciting schedule for participants. The league features a floating style, meaning you can submit scores anytime during the week of play.
- Season Length: Each season lasts 6 weeks, with an intermission before the next season begins.
- Frequency: FDL meets once a week, on league night, ensuring an opportunity to get your score in with complimentary use of the facility. You’re welcome to submit scores outside of league night anytime Mon. - Sun. On the corresponding week of play. League night is subject to change from season to season.
- Duration: Sessions typically last about 1.5 hours, making them a perfect fit for your week.
Gameplay Details
Format of Play
- 9-Hole Stroke Play (Best-Ball Scoring): Teams or individuals record the lowest score for each hole, encouraging strategy and collaboration. For solo players, time provided, the lowest score from multiple 9-hole rounds on each hole will form their best-ball scorecard.
Rules for Solo Participation
- Full Rounds Required: Solo players must complete and submit scores for full 18-hole rounds. Replay of specific holes or 9-hole segments is not allowed. This ensures fairness and consistency for all players.
- Best-Ball Scoring: Solo participants can submit multiple 9-hole rounds, and the best score on each hole across these rounds will be used for their final scorecard.
💥 Skills Challenge & Weekly Leaderboards
Each week, we’ll feature a public Skills Challenge — open to all players at the facility — displayed on leaderboards throughout the property. It’s your chance to see how you stack up, free of charge.
For FDL players, league night will be your official chance to post a score toward that week’s challenge. If you don’t take the top overall spot, don’t worry — if your team is paid and competing, I’ll select the closest league tier finish toward the top to represent the league on the public leaderboard.
That way, the rest of the facility can see that your hard work in the league translates to results — in the bay and on the course.
📊 We’re using TopTracer’s leaderboard technology, so keep your eyes peeled around the Hangar to track progress in real time.
A QR code will be shared before each event to join that week’s leaderboard and stay connected to the standings.
Scoring System: FDL utilizes an average rolling handicap system to calculate skill levels. This system dynamically adjusts handicaps based on recent scores, ensuring fair competition and an enjoyable experience for everyone.
Score Submission: Each team or player must pick-up a physical score card from the Hangar bar or the golf shop for the corresponding virtual course. Record team name, date, tee box and overall, 9 hole “best-ball’ score. Deposit card to FDL dropbox located on the side of the the middle top tracer range camera tower.
Prizes: Weekly prize eligibility depends on player participation, year-long Fedex cup style points used to track performance and grand prize eligibility!
Results: Sent out each Wednesday the following week. Weekly winners, flights, rolling handicaps, and points list all updated weekly.

- Team Fee: $100 per team (up to 2 players per team).
- Solo Fee: $75 per individual.
