Jason is playing in a match against Marc at Arrowood. They get to hole number 8 and Jason hits his ball short into the front bunker. Once they arrive to the green, Jason’s ball is nowhere to be found. He believes his ball must have plugged into the bunker. He starts moving sand around and finally finds a ball which was indeed plugged. The only problem is, he cannot identify whether the ball is his or not. What should he do?
Answer: Jason can move the sand to uncover his golf ball to identify it. Once he identifies it, he must re-cover the ball with sand. If he fails to re-cover the ball, it will cost him two strokes.
